How Our Facebook Auctions Work
Cape Town Live Auctions hosts live Facebook auctions where bidders can take part directly in the comments during the auction. Each auction includes numbered lots, clear bidding activity, and a countdown handled by the auctioneer.
Upcoming auction dates and times are shared in advance, so bidders can see when the next auctions are taking place and plan ahead. Item lists are also made available before the auction where possible, giving bidders time to review the lots, check model numbers where needed, and do their research before placing a bid.
How to Join our Facebook Auctions
Registration is not required to participate in a Cape Town Live Auctions Facebook auction. However, by placing a bid, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the auction rules and terms.
To bid, simply post your bid in the comments and clearly include the lot number you are bidding on. The auctioneer will run the auction, manage the countdown, and confirm the winning bid. The highest bid at the end of the countdown wins the lot.
Once you win a lot, you must immediately send Cape Town Live Auctions a WhatsApp with your name and surname, contact number, and preferred collection date and time.
